Here is my Oktoberfest night two intro, as we walk towards the beer tents and the mayhem. What I didn't realize about Oktoberfest is that it's not just about beer and swaying arm in arm with strangers from around the world. Oh, no. It's also a full blown carnival. Oktoberfest beer tent: Part 3 (01:33)

So here you go- two American girls pretty plastered at Oktoberfest! A few things to note: No one sits at Oktoberfest, that's why everyone is standing on the tables. You have to make a reservation at least a year in advance in order to even have a table to stand on. Cost of table: Two beers and a whole roasted chicken. Luckily, Germans are so friendly that these guys let us crash their table. In this clip watch Beth and I having an ultimate travel moment- realizing how wonderful our lives are. "F*ck success!" Lol!

Here's my little opening commentary in the beer tent. Note that I'm singing "Sweet Home Alabama." This surprised the hell out of us- there's a traditional German polka band in each tent but they play mainly classic (and odd) American songs. We couldn't get over that we traveled all that way to a cultural event only to hear southern rock.

Tobogganing! (01:22)

Sledding at its best! Forget the puny hill in your neighborhood and leave the giant trash can top at home because less than an hour from Munich is what is claimed to be Germany's longest tobogganing run. If you are looking for something to do in the winter near Munich, this is some of the most fun I've had since I was a kid.
