Our final day was a day of relaxation. Swimming at the beach and the girls had their hair and nails done by the natives.

Day 3 we went up into the mountainous area, where I've never been before, and visited the villages leading several to Christ.

On day 2, Charlie outlines the plans for the day and week. We pack gifts to hand out to the Haitians and do devotions together.

One member from our group wrote and performed a song with her guitar the day before we came home. It is really neat and captures the trip along with several photos.

Every year we hand out clothing material to the children. They bring it home and their mother sews clothes for them.

A drive through Port au Prince in 2006 proves that things haven't changed much

This is the first time I was able to meet my sponsored child, Gaelle Pierre, in Haiti. I was also able to see her house and meet her family!

We had an amazing experience in Haiti visiting an orphanage where the children sang in Creole to us and we sang in English to them and performed skits.

We did have time to have devotions with one another and were treated like kings from the Haitian help with wonderful meals. I think everyone needs a time to unwind during a mission trip.
