There is a natural rainforest in Guyana. We were able to relax there and celebrate the week. Walk with us along the rain forest, and watch as we taste exotic fruit.

It gets so hot in Guyana that everyone relaxes during the day. Most take a nap or just rest under the fan. It is a nice time to unwind after a long morning of VBS.

The meat of the trip was Vacation Bible School. We provided a puppet show, games, crafts, stories and activities. Hear from the individuals who ran each event and what they thought about the experience.

We stopped at the Guyanese Expo. Interesting that they have one, in such a poor area. As you will see it is well run, and quite involved. They even have a Ferris Wheel.

Ministering to the villagers in the evenings were a daily experience. Praying for salvation, recommitments and healings, while also singing to the group that gathered to hear the message.

Not all work and no play, on our Mission trip to Guyana we were able to do a little shopping at the open markets. Interesting is the fresh produce, fish and chicken.

"Getting there is half the fun". Watch our travel experience, sent off with prayer by our pastor, with highlights of spending the night in the airport. You do what you have to do.
