Need a cup of coffee on Sunday morning? Kelley did! Stop by the bean. It's a quiet little coffee shop and a great place to read a book.

Stop by Aunt Leah's for a tasty selection of fudge, including the Nantucket special: cranberry fudge. She'll even ship you her fudge and chocolate covered cranberries!

Looking for an "underground" local tavern in Nantucket, check out Brotherhood of Thieves. This used to be a whaling bar and now services locals and visitors a like.

Youngs is a must stop if you plan on getting around Nantucket by a mode of transportation other than walking. You can choose from bikes, cars and jeeps. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Shopping in Nantucket? Hungry? Stop by Arno's for a quick bite to eat. Offering breakfast lunch and dinner this is a nice place for a hungry shopper. It even has some of Nantucket's local brews.

Though it's a small island, there is a lot to explore on Nantucket. If you want to grab a quick take out lunch so you can hit the beach, you won't find fresher seafood than the Sayle's. You need a car/bike to get to it, but the fried cod sandwiches and lobster rolls make it worth the trek. Sayle's supplies all the lobsters to all the restaurants on the island!

Locals and tourists alike line up outside Black Eyed Susan's for its wholesome and tasty breakfasts. Huevos rancheros, breakfast scrambles, and huge flapjacks are piled on the plates of this small but cozy restaurant on India street. They also serve a delicious dinner with unique plays on local, seasonal ingredients by the chef and it's BYOB. A must for anyone visiting Nantucket. You know it's good when you are sitting with the locals.

Splurge Smart with Kelley Ferro brings you...Nantucket! Both an inn and a restaurant, the European charm at Le Languedoc makes this a unique spot on Nantucket. Whether it's a comfortable stay, an elegant French meal, or a delicious burger at the bar, you can find all of these at this high quality Inn. The ambiance is warm and genial, and after meeting the staff, it is no surprise that all feel at home at the Languedoc. I had a delicious sampling of the chef's specialties. Who knew that sweetbreads were so tasty! If you go, don't miss out on the sundae for dessert.

Splurge Smart with Kelley Ferro brings you...Nantucket! For a homey room on a quiet street in the center of Nantucket village, stay at the Hawthorn House. The cute inn really lives up to it's name, you feel like you are staying a friend's historic home. Each room is uniquely decorated, one has harbor views and the other, a private deck. The inn keepers are very accommodating and the parlor areas, and porch are nice places to relax.

Splurge Smart with Kelley Ferro brings you...Nantucket! The Roberts House Inn will make your stay in Nantucket convenient, comfortable and reminiscent of the Nantucket's historic whaling village charm. The rooms are clean and each with it's own details, reminding you that this is a still not a major chain, but a family run inn. The seating areas are pretty and comfortable, and the outdoor garden and the porch are great places to have a cocktail. Smack in the heart of the village, the India Street location is one block from cobbled Main Street. Don't miss the free breakfast and coffee in the downstairs lounge!

Splurge Smart with Kelley Ferro brings you...Nantucket! What's a charming New England fishing island with a picturesque lighthouse? The Brant Point Lighthouse is the second oldest in the country. It's located right on the main harbor so it greets you when you arrive by ferry. It's a pretty spot to have lunch, go swimming, take pictures, just be sure to dodge the many weddings that take place here. It's 25 minute walk from downtown Nantucket, but a much shorter drive or bike ride.
