The Tripfilms team has been working hard to make the website more fun and useful for our members.
We wanted to introduce some new features worth checking out:
Member Videos by Destination: You can now browse videos by destination on member profile pages. Want to see only the Goa videos by railaybay? Click on the link from his page, or navigate to Goa in the nifty "Where Michael's Filmed" map. railaybay definitely wins as the individual member with the most destinations on his map - he's uploaded videos from 52 locations. Wow!
Community Page: Our new community page lets you see at a glance what's going on at Tripfilms. Does a new video, comment, or member catch your eye? Click to that page from the news feed. Also check the community page to see special content highlighted by our editors.
Add Points of Interest to your videos: You might have noticed that some of our videos, such as Oldest Houses in New York City, have, next to the video, a long list of the points of interest featured in that video - complete with helpful info such as addresses, phone numbers, and websites. Until now, Tripfilms editors have added this extra info to videos one by one, but naturally, it's hard to keep up with all of the videos that come in! Now, you can add info to your videos yourself to make your videos more helpful for viewers. Does your video feature a restaurant, hotel, or other point of interest? Click on "My Videos" from your account page to add the relevant info so your viewers can find out more right away. Our editors will review your submissions and link them to your video for you.
Subscribe to a destination: Are you planning a trip to a specific destination soon? Subscribe to that destination from the page for that destination in order to be notified when a new video is uploaded.
The TripVlogger program: We have a new incentive for members - Upload great travel videos, and we'll send you on a trip of your choice to make travel videos for us. hellotrain, justin, SuperHarlan, and others have already completed trips as TripVloggers; you can too if you apply.

You have a serious security glitch on your site. I received an invitation to join TripFilms via YouTube, and when I visited your site for the first time ever, I was already logged on as "StrayCompass" and could access and edit all of this user's profile information, etc. I really like your site but will not join until you have your security issues worked out.
