It makes us very happy when new filmmakers join Tripfilms and share inspiring, high quality travel videos. We know they are really tough to make!
We were especially surprised when we learned that one of our newest filmmaking duos "Hellotrain" doesn't even use a video camera! They use the video recording function on an ordinary digital camera.
Their 7 part "Getting Lost" series of travel videos covers India, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Part 7 of their trip covers several remote beaches in Thailand. They are hand-crafted, artistic, and personal portraits of an adventuresome and lengthy trip. The kind of trip that requires a true committment and a love of new places and people.
It's inspiring to us because it proves yet again that a good travel video needs storytelling, creativity, and authenticity more than the most expensive equipment. We can't wait for their next set of videos!
