When we launched Tripfilms.com to the world last year, 1000 videos seemed like an impossibly huge number of travel videos. (After all, there are only about 400 Simpsons episodes and they have been around for 20+ years!) Today, we are proud to say that our talented filmmakers have uploaded 1000 videos!
Our 1000th travel video was a Pacific Beach Hotel Video Review in Oahu, Hawaii from the Urbanexplorer team.
Sure, video sharing sites like Youtube, Dailymotion and others have hundreds of thousands of videos, but Tripfilms isn't obsessed with having tons of random travel videos. We believe that it takes more than a cell phone to make a good travel video. We encourage filmmakers to make videos that are actually fun to watch and make you want to travel.
It's not easy to make a good travel video, so our hats are off to the dedicated, tireless, and ever-traveling filmmakers and hosts who have given Tripfilms such a wonderful start.
I am currently working on a durian eating video that I hope will be uploaded before we hit 2,000!
