SammyK and Will from TwoGuysAroundTheWorld.com have been doing just that. On a budget of 10k a piece, they are planning to spend two years on the road visiting dozens of countries and having a story that will make them exceptionally cool at cocktail parties for the rest of their lives.
10 grand is less than most people spend on rent in a given year, and they're living off it for two. That takes some skills and ingenuity.
