Hang gliding in the French Alps

Hang gliding is a favorite for residents of Chambery and the Savoie/Alps region, for obvious reasons. Surrounded by high mountains and stunning views the conditions are perfect for the sport. One of our favorite motorbike rides is to go up to the tops of the mountains and watch the hang gliders jump off the cliffs. It's both majestic and thrilling.
