The Riviera del Pacifico is now the center of Ensenada's cultural district, right across from the free art museum. It used to be one of the most exclusive resorts in the Mexican Riviera - the rumor is that Al Capone even funded its construction. The classic architecture and the manicured public gardens are a great retreat from the city.
