From the moment I sat down, I felt like one of the family, and dinner in true Italian style was a multi-course, three hour affair. The savvy and oftentimes hilarious waiters will tell you what's cooking, and if you're indecisive like me, they'll bring you out a few samples of what the kitchen is offering. At Il Latini, it's best to simply surrender and let the food and wine flow. Their house made prosciutto is meaty and delicious, and all of their products--from the wine to the olive oil--are specially commissioned for them and only available at Il Latini. At the end of the meal, the owner comes over to your table, chats with the waiter, and decides a fair price for you to pay. If you want classic and delicious Italian food and an unforgettable experience, put Il Latini at the top of your list.
