Their gelato is light and milky in the Sicilian style, and their iced granita honestly made me weak in the knees the first time I ate it. It's got the perfect level of sweetness, and all of the flavors--from my personal favorite blackberry, to melon, to strawberry, and even coffee or almond--are bursting with fresh ingredients. With two locations in Florence and one near Carrara, chances are you'll be coming back to Gelateria Carabe as often as I did, sometimes twice in one day.
