Place el-Hedim

The Place el-Hedim is the main square in Meknes, an imperial city in Morocco nearby Fez. During the day it is a hot empty space, but at night it livens up. People flood the square to social, eat, and enjoy the nightly festivities such as snake charmers, story tellers, medicine men, acrobats, carnival-like games. It is a great place to enjoy a cheap yet good meal and watch the spectacle unfold.
