Get Lost with Kelley Ferro in... Costa Rica!
One of the most fun and affordable ways to see Costa Rica is by getting lost on moped. We rented one in Playa Grande, from the moped rental company called Scooty Puff, which was recommended by our hotel, Una Ola.
We took dirt roads through local villages, saw school children having class outdoors, saw mansions and shacks on the same road and got a true feel of the area.
Our destination was an amazing beach that we had heard only glowing reviews so we braved rocky roads, stray cows and lack of map/directions/signs. Surprisingly, we found it: Playa Piratas. And wow was it worth it.
