Cold Spring was voted the most romantic restaurant in the Nipper's restaurant poll several years ago. The tavern dates back to 1865. In 1941 Adelaide Ovington bought Cold Spring Tavern for $2000. It is still in her family today. Cold Spring Tavern actually has more than one spring as there are 52 springs on the property. The natural spring water is served at the bar and restaurant and used in all food and beverage preparation. The restaurant serves classic American food with specialties like chili, burgers and BBQ tri tip. They also have fish and grilled meats in the evening.
