Rituals of the Philippines

its good Friday Holy Week in Manila....and this is what i have experienced... ...the days either side of Easter, religous catolics in the Philippines want to deliver or atone their sins in a very unbelievable way...they cut their skins with a knife and hit themselves with wooden sticks on a rope... its terrible to see this..i had to change my shirt twice because i got splashed with blood of the people...Some of them creep on the floor for kilometers...they also do this if their relatives are sick and they are praying for some money to help them...thats y i choose this music... They use maskes because they dont want to be known by anybody... i made this shots in Passay City, Malibay, Manila Philippines...
