McLaughlin Gardens' Lilac Festival

A short drive northwest of Portland, Maine lies the McLaughlin Gardens, home of the annual Lilac Festival. Walk along paths lined with over 200 varieties of lilac, as well as dozens of other plants and flowers. A 19th century barn and farmhouse round out the Gardens, giving the whole place a story-book feel. The volunteer staff hold presentations on the site's history and growing lilacs. The farmhouse contains a little cafe and gift shop that help support the Gardens. Special thanks to Ashley for appearing in the video with me! Enjoy!
