You would never imagine that a city as historical and quaint at Graz, would have a giant, bulbous, steel and glass structure at it's heart. But every local we met rallies around this grandiose museum!
Known by locals at the "friendly alien," the kunsthaus is the city's modern museum. It was built to embrace the old background of Graz by reflecting the traditional buildings around it. One of it's tentactle-like windows even looks out directly at Graz's clocktower.
Inside, it is one of the coolest and most fun museums I've ever experienced. With interactive exhibits, machines, robots and a rotating exhibit, there's a ton to see in a relaxed and gentle way.
