Graz: The Armory

Lots of old pieces of metal piled in a historic building in the center of town? No, Graz's Armory is so MUCH more than that. I had no idea when I entered that this "museum" is basically walk through of a Medieval knights and soldiers-- all so life-like in their fully assembled gear that I felt they might start walking. It is the largest collection of armor and weaponry from the Middle Ages in the world!

The building itself is historic and it doesn't have any glass cases--all the armor is right in front of you! You could reach out and pull the trigger of a 500 year old gun. I wouldn't though, because most of the guns are fully loaded and they still work...
