The Witte Museum is a Texas original, with incredible exhibits featuring local flora and fauna from all over the state, including dinosaurs that lived here millions of years ago. It's a great place to bring your kids and give them an education in biology, science, history and FUN! My three year old had a blast looking at all the bugs, and playing with the neat, hands-on science displays. The Witte is the oldest public museum in San Antonio, and has been a huge part of the the city's storied history.
