Maui: Seven Sacred Pools and Pipiwai Trail

Hiking the Pipiwai Trail and visiting the Seven Sacred Pools (aka 'Ohe'o Gulch) on East Maui was one of my favorite things I did while I was there. Both are located right next to each other at the Haleakala National Park. The trail leads you on a scenic journey through a bamboo forest to get to a hugely tall waterfall, while the seven sacred pools provide a refreshing place to swim after you've hiked up and back down the trail.
