Hundreds of Bald Eagles on the Skagit river
Every year bald eagles migrate to the Skagit river to feast on the carcasses of spawning salmon. This is the largest gathering of bald eagles in the lower 48 states. River guide Wayne Ackerlund rows us down the river as the sun rises through the mist to see hundreds of bald eagles roosting and feeding.
