Thailand musings

This was purely an impulse trip..one moment i was playing a game of dominoes with friends ,the other,was boarding a flight for thailand alone, camera for company,zero expectations and thrilled to jus get away. Touchdown bangkok-was greeted with ice cold water on khao sarn road and promises of a new beginning as the Thai new year,Songkran,washed away all inhibitions. This is how i summed up my 15 day trip on a friend's facebook wall,who needed to get away too- 'go to ko-tao..and see pink dolphins...go to ko-phangan and see madness at Full Moon party...sit in a plane...take a bus...let ur hair loose in a lomprayah ferry...eat...yummy padthai ....love the sunsets...look in the clear water...maybe u see a sea cucumber or maybe u see your soul...wish....tell your life plans to a stranger on a table for 11...cry...cry alone...or amongst thousands...laugh...like u never did or the way u always do...ride a bike...go up a hill and see the world rush back up...curse...the weather...indulge...in sin or a triple layer dark chocolate cake....put ur feet up on the drink table in a slow moving thai train and see the end of himalayas...or so they say...see james bond island...sit @maya beach and become richard from The Beach...SHOP....blow the oodles u making or pick up fridge magnets...watever u do,wherever u go...jus get ready and show up...they are waiting...be kind !'
