This is our favorite type of campground, beautiful surroundings and lots of fun stuff to do! With a tennis court, basketball court, disc golf course, and a horseshoe pit all at your fingertips, the only thing missing, is the noise! The sites are nice and spacious and at night the stars can be seen for miles. Turtle Rock Park Campground is located near Markleeville, CA. It is 29 miles south of South Lake Tahoe, CA and 32 miles west of Carson City, NV. There are no hook-ups, but there is flush toilets, a shower and water at various sites.
