    Too awesome, can't get that close to a plane in the US anymore. There was a place like that in Hong Kong when we were kids right over a street market in the middle of town.

    That is insane how close those planes come in. There is a spot in Vancouver like this, but not as dramatic.

    @Antonseim & Kelley - Nor did I have any idea that there was a beach at the end of the runway! Bizarre. @Maggie17 - It's a little off-putting and exhilerating at the same time! I'm not sure there are many - if any - places where you can get this close to giant planes landing. And of course, I was ever-aware that if one thing went the teensiest bit wrong.....it would be ugly for everybody on that beach. Yikes!
