Bergamo - Lower city

At the foot of the Alps, Bergamo is world's away from its more famous neighbor Milano. I would recommend a stop in this quaint, artistic town. Even though there are 120,000 people living here, you can easily step into nature just by walking into one of the many parks. Art is not only seen at the museums, but you discover unique art on the streets. Fine wine, great food....and so very Italian!
