A quick look at Hue's historical Ho Quyen, an arena where tigers and elephants once fought for the entertainment of the emperor. Directions to Ho Quyen: Head west along Le Loi st towards the train station.Just prior to the train station you will cross a bridge, here you should take a right onto Bui Thi Xuan. From here continue for about 2.5km keeping an eye out for a street on the left called Nguyen Tran Cong Chua. Once you have passed this street, the turn off to the arena is about 300m further along the road - on a slight bend there is an alley on the left which should have a sign saying Ho Quyen and/or Kiet 373, the arena is about 180m up this alley. If the gates are closed then look around for a local who should have the key and let you in for about 20,000 dong. Normally he will come and greet you if you arrive. Hidden behind the arena is a small temple and pond which are also worth checking out. Music by Dan-O
