Tears, anger, despair, joy, disillusionment, plead for comfort, search for relief and consolation, taunting and jeers, sympathy, regrets and sorrow. You are allowed to laugh and slander at me without feeling guilty. Doesn't it all feel real? Oh, it's like a snowball's chance in hell. After all, I guess, we are all employed by one big monopolist monster - cyberspace. Although, in most cases is purely voluntary unpaid position - we are all happy to spend days and days within this environment writing and documenting in our lives, looking at other people's lives, illustrating our lives by adding photographs and video for better exposure and showing-off. This is the place to get to know, to date to fall in love, to endure in really suicidal romance and never die whatever that means. This is the only place where is plenty of choice of strange shoulders offered to rest your head on and water them with pools of tears. No hesitation in offering our own shoulder for virtually anybody to cry on. And it takes just New York minute to consider! It's the only place really, isn't it? And all is real. Tears. Stories. Lives. All you need is wring out the cloth and read the book. Don't you forget - it's already published! In most cases no editing required! Just read it. Whatever draft it is. What happened to sitting at the fireplace? Brandy, cigar, you? Music..? Well -without getting too excited here - what happened to poker nights? Well, they're all got dumb. They're not real enough, I suppose - It's better over here. More real? We are all stars of the shows in here. We can even be FREAKS big time, if we wanted to. No guilty feeling. Fun! Who cares?! And we never get neither shot nor hurt in any way possible. Just hit the "REPLAY" and enjoy action over and over again. No pain. And it makes so easy to say "Hi. I am lonely heart seeking consolation. And I am dead". Here's the chance to finally immortalise ourselves. And we are the monument architects as well. School is compulsory in most parts of the world. And anyone can write. Here's the situation I've seen while out to lunch in Vilnius old town restaurant. A couple at the same table - literally in front of each other having each opened lap top computers franticly hammering the keys simultaneously Analyse this... And I'm just afraid to ask when is time there to start sending a good night fairy-tale reads to our kids via mobile texts. And yes - what are we afraid of? Food we eat? It'll make us fat? Computers we use? Somehow our world's going to get plagued with all sorts of viruses? Hackers will violate and pollute our BLOGS = lives? Hackers will kill an AVATAR? Well. Create another one. Big deal? And yet we are still afraid? This is unprecedented state of fear, really. Why? I'll tell you why. When was the last time there when you said "I LOVE YOU..?" When was the last time when you said "I HATE YOU..?" When was the last time somebody kicked the crap out of you for real? When was the last time you were kissed? I bet - we've written this all many times (instead of saying it, really). Thanks to almighty unlimited cyberspace - we saved tons of paper here. We can have a "GREEN" badge now. We've earned it.
