Five years ago, a car ran me down at an intersection on my way to work. The result was a broken knee, and a $20,000 insurance settlement. So I set out to travel the world. 53 countries later, I've been published in over a dozen major newspapers, and host a TV show called Word Travels for OLN in Canada and Nat Geo Adventure worldwide.
