Born in Lisbon on August, 1 1982. Cinema was always his biggest passion. His first camera was a Betamax from his birthdate 82. From an early age he travelled around the world, which allowed him to master four languages perfectely and watch movies from all around the world.

He studied at the New York Film Academy, while at the same time providing help to students at Film school for screenwriting/editing. He also acted in a few student movies made at the New York Film Academy and the Belgium Rits. Pedro Chaves is also listed on IMDB, under the same name or his nick name : Locke Cole which he sometimes uses for writing and directing. He won different prizes for short movies and scripts. He is now working on his first feature film "39" and a pilot for the Belgium television.
